Lanfeng WANG is a principle investigator at Institut Pasteur of Shanghai, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is currently the group leader of the structural pathogenesis unit and the chief scientist of the cryo-electron microscope platform. His research interest is to determine the structural mechanism of important pathogenic processes caused by pathogens using multi-disciplinary tools (structural biology and biochemistry). Next, the development of structure-based targeted intervention methods will be set up accordingly, which provides a theoretical basis for the prevention and treatment of related diseases. In recent years, some important research results have been obtained in this related field, and a couple of results have been published in internationally renowned journals such as Nature and PNAS. Currently, He was the sub-project leader of a national protein special project; undertook a strategy B project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences; presided over a general project from nature science fund and a talent project from Shanghai; participated in a number of other provincial and ministerial projects.
