Heping ZHANG, male, Ph.D., professor, doctoral supervisor. He is currently director of key Laboratory of Dairy Biotechnology and Engineering, Ministry of Education and Key Laboratory of Dairy Processing, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. Winner of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars; Specially-invited Professor of“Cheungkong Scholars Program”; The winner of the National "Millions and Millions of Talents Project"; National "Ten Thousand Talents Program" Science and Technology Innovation Leader. Successively obtains "He Liang; Hori Science and Technology Innovation Award", "National Science and Technology Progress Second Prize, “Ministry of Education Science and Technology Progress Second Prize ", "Chinese Institute of Food Science and Technology Science and Technology Innovation Award-Outstanding Contribution Award", " Inner Mongolia Natural Science First Prize", "Inner Mongolia Science and Technology Progress First Prize", "Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Science and Technology Special Contribution Award", "DBN award for science and technology"," The Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Outstanding Talent Award" and "Government Special Allowance" issued by the State Council and other awards.
Professor ZHANG has published 165 papers in SCI journals including Nature Communication, The ISME Journal, Gut microbes, Molecular and Cellular Proteomics and Microbiome as the first author or corresponding author, with an H index of 54. He has edited 8 books such as Lactic Acid Bacteria: Fundamentals and Practice, authorized 31 invention patents and drafted 7 local food safety standards. He served as a member of the 9th and 10th sessions of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, a member of the 11th and 12th Standing Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and a representative of the 14th People's Congress of Hohhot, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
